What you'll do

• About the Role As a Senior Manager- Facility design and operations- Sort Center, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced automation solutions across our sortation centers.
• The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in building large scale automated solutions for sorting operations, engineering design, automation technologies, and project management within logistics or related industries.​.

Requirements

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the automation design strategy for sort center automation, aligning with the company's expansion roadmap Automation Innovation: Lead the design and deployment of innovative large scale sorting automation solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of sortation processes Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of automation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.​ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, technology, and product teams to integrate automation solutions seamlessly into existing systems and workflows.​ Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability.​ Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and partners to source and implement best-in-class automation technologies.​ Performance Management: Establish metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of sort center operations Compliance and Safety: Ensure all automation designs and implementations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.​
