Requirements

• Lead and grow a team of engineers building Meesho’s Database Platform Own the platform roadmap for database provisioning, scaling, upgrades, client side interaction with DBs, observability, automation and modernising the overall database landscape Drive the shift from manual operations to self-service and intent-based workflows Partner with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into platform capabilities Ensure high standards of reliability, availability, security, and performance across database systems Establish strong engineering practices around design reviews, code quality, and operational excellence Mentor engineers, conduct regular 1:1s, and build a culture of ownership and continuous learning Collaborate with SRE and Infra teams and leverage AI to reduce toil and improve incident resilience
