  • The EKS team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Software Development Engineer II to build, deliver, and maintain complex products that delight our customers and raise our performance bar.
  • You’ll design fault-tolerant systems that run at massive scale as we continue to innovate best-in-class services and applications in the AWS Cloud.
  • Join the innovative team at Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) where we are focusing on the integration of Kubernetes with AWS through the AWS Controllers for Kubernetes (ACK).
  • ACK enables users to define and utilize AWS service resources directly from Kubernetes, streamlining the management of cloud native applications.
  • With ACK, managing supporting capabilities such as databases or message queues becomes ‘kube-fied’, enhancing the efficiency and scalability of Kubernetes workloads.
  • As a member of our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of containerized computing, enabling our customers to leverage the full potential of Kubernetes and AWS services seamlessly.
  • Key job responsibilities - Develop new service controllers and ensure the upkeep of existing ones to facilitate AWS resources integration with Kubernetes.

Requirements

  • Practical experience with Rust, AWS, Kubernetes, RAG.
  • Experience level: 1+ yrs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English.
  • Comfortable working on-site in Seattle, Washington, USA.
