Information you give us: your email address and message when you contact us, and account details if you choose to create a profile (email address and display name).

Information collected automatically: pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and interaction events. This is used in aggregate to understand what content is useful.

Information stored on your device: your saved jobs, bookmarks, search history and theme preference are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you sign in and explicitly sync them.

To operate and improve the site, to remember your preferences and bookmarks, to respond to your messages, to detect abuse and to display advertising that keeps Ovyro free to read.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep the site working, plus analytics and advertising cookies set by third parties.

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking advertising cookies may result in less relevant ads but the site will keep working.

We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements on Ovyro. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Job, internship, event and open-source listings are collected from public sources such as official company career portals, government internship programmes and public APIs. We publish only publicly available job details and always link to the original source.

If you are an employer or organiser and want a listing removed, email support@ovyro.tech with the URL and we will remove it.

Contact emails are kept for up to 24 months. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Aggregated analytics are kept indefinitely as they are not personally identifiable.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Email support@ovyro.tech and we will respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Ovyro is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact support@ovyro.tech and we will delete it.

The site is served over HTTPS and account data is stored with an encrypted, access-controlled database provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected users of any breach that puts them at risk.

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page always reflects the current version.
