• You'll work at the intersection of scalable infrastructure and cutting-edge AI integrations, collaborating closely with product, data, and frontend teams to ship reliable, high-quality software.
• This is a fully on-site role (Berlin office, 5 days/week).
• The company operates in the AI/ML space, helping marketing teams track, analyze, and optimize brand performance across AI search platforms.

• What You'll Do Architect and build backend systems that power real-time AI-driven recommendations.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable REST and GraphQL APIs, data pipelines, and database models.
• Integrate with AI model APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Llama, and others) to support live recommendation features.
• Develop and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality and rapid delivery.
• Enforce security best practices, authentication/authorization, and data privacy across backend services.

Requirements

• Practical experience with Engineering.
• Relevant academic or project background for a Senior Backend Developer role.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Comfortable working on-site in Berlin.
