What you'll do

• At the heart of Discord's communities is Safety.
• The Safety team at Discord is responsible for ensuring users find belonging by minimizing exposure to abuse on the platform.
• We're looking for a Product Manager to lead our work on scaled abuse, fake accounts, account takeovers, scraping, and help keep Discord a safe and welcoming place.
• Reporting to our safety Group Product Manager, you'll create the vision, build the systems, and lead the cross-functional strategy that detects and prevents scaled abuse before it reaches our users.

Requirements

• Passionate about Discord and about keeping users safe from abuse at scale.
• 5+ years of experience as a product manager building and shipping great software, including driving prioritization, trade-offs, and timelines.
• Some of that experience should include designing and shipping user-facing anti-abuse features.
• Strong product sense and pride in understanding Discord and our users.
• Strong analytical ability to quickly organize and leverage data to make informed product decisions with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Previous work in spam, abuse, fraud, account integrity, Trust & Safety, or a strong passion to learn the space.
• Sufficient technical domain expertise to drive alignment on technical requirements with Anti-Abuse, ML, and Security stakeholders.
• Bonus Points Familiarity with ML-based detection systems and adversarial attacker dynamics.
