• What you’ll be doing Fire Safety Design and Product Development for timber buildings in building class 4 and 5 Implementation of state-of-the-art solutions in our residential Building Product Constant and controlled evolution of the Product within the Series- and Change Management Coordination with design disciplines like Architecture, Engineering, MEP, Building Physics, Acoustics, and Energy Design Contribute to the improvement of short-term and long-term certification strategies of our building product Design and coordinate physical tests in the GROPYUS prototyping center at our factory and with external testing institutes Communication with external consultants, authorities, and institutes Contribute to the public discourse over the advancement of fire safety regulations in Germany through various involvements of GROPYUS What’s exciting about the role Challenge the industry and develop new ways to work on buildings Opportunity for continuous learning and development Being surrounded by professionals coming from diverse backgrounds (tech, production, automotive, product, sustainability etc.), working together on a common goal About you Must have Experience in the construction industry and project experience in LP5+ project stage in Germany and/or Austria Proficiency in relevant German and/or Austrian regulations and codes Experience in developing fire safety strategies Fluent German skills Nice to have Experience in residential buildings of building class 4 and/or 5 Experience in timber construction Experience in certification of products Experience in Rhino or Revit a plus, alternatively AutoCAD Fluent English skills What we offer An unlimited contract with 30 vacation days.

Requirements

• Practical experience with Building Physics, Acoustics & Fire Prevention.
• Relevant academic or project background for a Senior Fire Safety Engineer (all genders) role.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Comfortable working on-site in Berlin, Berlin.
