Systems Engineer 2

Overview

Responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and software, supporting critical business operations. Maintain Availability, Scalability, and Efficiency of Oracle Cloud Services. Solve complex infrastructure problems.

What you'll do

• Responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and software, supporting critical business operations.
• Maintain Availability, Scalability, and Efficiency of Oracle Cloud Services.
• Solve complex infrastructure problems.
• Handle customer incident tickets and/or deploy software in test or production systems, and or perform testing on test systems or production systems.
• You will be required to do RCA when possible; if the issue is complex, beyond your knowledge or skills, escalate to developers in team.
• It’s a critical role to help with availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services.
• Help manage Oracle standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
• If needed, help facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.

Requirements

• Practical experience with Scala.
• Relevant academic or project background for a Systems Engineer 2 role.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Comfortable working on-site in BENGALURU, KARNATAKA, India.
