Overview

On-Site ABOUT SARVAM Sarvam is building the bedrock of Sovereign AI for India. The company is developing India's full-stack sovereign AI platform, building across research, models, infrastructure and applications with a singular focus on making AI genuinely work for India. Sarvam works with leading enterprises and public institutions and is backed by Lightspeed, Peak XV, and Khosla Ventures.

What you'll do

  • Its users range from individual creators to media houses to large broadcasters and streaming platforms.
  • We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who knows the media and entertainment industry from the inside, someone who has built products for OTT, broadcast, streaming, or media-tech platforms and understands how content actually gets made, localized, distributed, and monetized.
  • You'll own how Studio serves the media industry: what a dubbing pipeline needs to look like for a broadcaster running hundreds of hours of content a month, what "broadcast quality" means for AI-generated voice, and how AI reshapes the economics of content creation and localization.
  • This is a builder's role, not a strategy-deck role.
  • You'll talk to studios, broadcasters, and creators constantly, ship product every week, and get deep into how our voice and media models behave in production.
  • Own the Studio product roadmap for media & entertainment customers end-to-end, from discovery with broadcasters, OTT platforms, and content studios, to specs, shipping, and measuring outcomes
  • Translate media workflows into product: content ingestion, dubbing and localization pipelines, QC and human-in-the-loop review, delivery formats, and rights/compliance requirements that broadcast and streaming customers demand
  • Define what "good" means for AI-generated media, voice quality, lip-sync, emotional nuance, translation fidelity, and build the eval pipelines and feedback loops that hold the product to it

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of product management experience, with real products shipped at meaningful scale
  • Strong preference for experience in media & entertainment, Video & Content first platforms OTT/streaming platforms (Prime Video, JioHotstar, Zee5, SonyLIV), broadcasters, studios, or media-tech/content-supply-chain companies (Adobe, Amagi, Prime Focus, or similar)
  • Deep understanding of the content lifecycle: how content is produced, transformed (dubbing, subtitling), packaged, distributed, and monetized across broadcast and streaming
  • Hands-on familiarity with generative AI in content workflows, voice synthesis, dubbing, video/audio generation, and clear thinking on quality vs. cost vs. speed trade-offs
  • Strong data skills: comfortable writing SQL, setting up funnels, and defining success metrics that matter (not vanity numbers)
  • Strong product thinking: you start with the customer's problem, structure vague problem spaces, and ship v1 without over-engineering
  • High ownership, high agency: you don't wait for permission, and you've stayed up to fix something because you couldn't let it stay broken
  • Clear communicator, equally effective with a dubbing director, an enterprise buyer, and a research engineer BONUS POINTS
