Engineering Manager

What you'll do

• Teams range from developer-facing surfaces, core backend services, Platform, EngOps, and Databases.
• This is a single pipeline for engineering management.
• As we get to know your background, we'll match you to the team where your experience and interests overlap most strongly.
• The Engineering Manager is a people, delivery, and technical role.
• Although we don’t expect managers to contribute to code directly, we do expect you to participate in design discussions and to be involved in setting the bar for engineering quality and best practices.
• This is a new role at Supabase.
• We've historically optimised for technical excellence on every axis, including leadership.
• As our engineering org grows, people leadership has become just as critical, and the Engineering Manager role exists to reflect that.

Requirements

• Practical experience with Go, Rust, Postgres, RAG.
• Experience level: 5+ yrs.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams.
