• Offered Position: Software Dev Engineer III Job Location: Austin, Texas Job Number: AMZ9160846 Position Responsibilities: Drive the architecture and design of large-scale processor and/or complex system-on-a-chip designs using industry standard electronic design automation (EDA) tools and Verilog, System Verilog, C++ and Perl.
• Gather business and functional requirements from external and/or internal customers and end-users, and translate requirements into technical specifications to build robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well between a range of complex systems.
• Serve as technical lead throughout the full development lifecycle, end-to-end, from scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery and maintenance.
• Provide design reviews for other engineers, including feedback on architecture and design issues, as well as integration, performance and scalability.
• Manage resources on multiple technical projects and ensure schedules, milestones, and priorities are compatible with technology and business goals.
• Position Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and three years of experience.
• Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) designing and developing large-scale processor or complex system-on-a-chip designs using: (i.) Verilog, System Verilog, C++, Java, or Perl; (ii.) electronic design automation (EDA) tools; and (iii) digital system testing methods.

• Practical experience with Go, Java, C++, Scala.
