  • AWS AppSync is a fully managed, serverless service for building GraphQL and Pub/Sub APIs that securely connect applications to data and events at scale.
  • Developers use AppSync to bring together data from sources like Amazon DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, and HTTP endpoints behind a single API endpoint, and to deliver real-time updates to connected clients through managed WebSocket subscriptions, without having to build and operate the underlying API infrastructure themselves.
  • We're looking for engineers who can independently design and deliver features and components of AWS AppSync.
  • As a Software Development Engineer, you'll own the design, implementation, testing, and operation of meaningful parts of the service, make sound technical decisions, and contribute to the team's architecture and best practices.
  • You'll continuously identify areas of growth within the existing frameworks, tools and processes to develop further technical mechanisms that reduce waste and continuously improve.
  • You'll collaborate with engineers throughout the company who are building the next big thing in cloud computing.

Requirements

  • Practical experience with GraphQL, AWS.
  • Experience level: 3+ yrs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English.
  • Comfortable working on-site in Vancouver, British Columbia, CAN.
