- AWS AppSync is a fully managed, serverless service for building GraphQL and Pub/Sub APIs that securely connect applications to data and events at scale.
- Developers use AppSync to bring together data from sources like Amazon DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, and HTTP endpoints behind a single API endpoint, and to deliver real-time updates to connected clients through managed WebSocket subscriptions, without having to build and operate the underlying API infrastructure themselves.
- We're looking for engineers who can independently design and deliver features and components of AWS AppSync.
- As a Software Development Engineer, you'll own the design, implementation, testing, and operation of meaningful parts of the service, make sound technical decisions, and contribute to the team's architecture and best practices.
- You'll continuously identify areas of growth within the existing frameworks, tools and processes to develop further technical mechanisms that reduce waste and continuously improve.
- You'll collaborate with engineers throughout the company who are building the next big thing in cloud computing.
Requirements
- Practical experience with GraphQL, AWS.
- Experience level: 3+ yrs.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Comfortable working on-site in Vancouver, British Columbia, CAN.
