Community and Events Manager

Overview

This role owns the community. You are the face of TorqWars on the ground: at the arena, at events, and inside the Indian RC and hobby scene. You will build a community that does not exist yet in this country. • You are the face of TorqWars on the ground: at the arena, at events, and inside the Indian RC and hobby scene.
• You will build a community that does not exist yet in this country.
• Responsibilities: Plan and run race days, meetups and community events at the TorqWars arena Build and maintain relationships with RC clubs, hobby stores, creators and enthusiasts across India Grow an active member base around the arena and convert first-time visitors into regulars Represent TorqWars publicly: on camera, at events, and in partner conversations Work with the marketing team to turn events into content Collect and feed community insight back into product and league design Requirements: High energy and strong on-your-feet communication.
• You are comfortable speaking to a crowd Genuine interest in physical machines: RC, motorsport, drones, mechanical hobbies.
• This is non-negotiable Experience running events, communities, clubs or campus activities in any form Willing to work weekends and evenings, since that is when races happen Based in or willing to relocate to the arena city Bonus: existing presence in the Indian RC, drone or motorsport scene

Requirements

• Practical experience with Go.
• Relevant academic or project background for a Community and Events Manager role.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Comfortable working on-site in online.
